Job Description
Introduction
Our client an accounting and audit firm in Cape Town is looking to hire a Tax Professional!
Requirements include:
- Bcom Degree in Taxation Accounting or related field
- SAIT Membership or Registered Tax Practitioner with SARS
- Experience in tax compliance within accounting or auditing is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of tax laws VAT Sales tax and tax related compliance issues
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks SAP or Specialised tax compliance tools
- Prepare and submit documents during audits and resolve any issues raised by tax authorities
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely tax returns
- Implement procedures to ensure the organisation adheres to taxrelated legal requirements
- Maintain proper documentation for all taxrelated matters including tax returns reports and correspondence
- Assess internal tax procedures and controls to minimised the risk of noncompliance
