You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThis position is temporary and/or intermittent in nature. Length of service is greater than 100 hours. This will be a hybrid work experience with inperson presence required approximately 12 days per week as well as some nights and weekends for events and other program activities.
The Foundation and Guild Association (FGA) seeks an intern to assist the team across various project areas including supporting the donor experience stewardship and workforce giving as well as coordinating inperson and virtual fundraising events during the busy summer season including but not limited to projects within the Guild Association Individual Annual Giving Community Events and Programs and other activities as needed. They will learn about the field of philanthropy and gain exposure to various aspects of fundraising stakeholder engagement and private grants.
FGA works with people in the community who want to make a difference at Seattle Childrens. Our teams work with individuals schools and other groups to engage in a range of activities including hosting and coordinating largescale public fundraising events connecting individuals who want to contribute to a specific area with Seattle Childrens experts in that area and applying for private grants on behalf of the hospital and research institute.
An ideal candidate brings curiosity creativity and a desire to learn the role and impact of philanthropy. Training will include an orientation to Seattle Childrens Foundation and Guild Association teams and project areas and related tools. This role will provide a great learning opportunity for those interested in exploring a potential career in philanthropy.

Required Education and Experience
Must be at least 21 years of age
Rising junior or rising senior at local college or technical school

Compensation: $23/hr.
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on fulltime employment 2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.
