- Taking Pride: Paying attention to detail and taking pride in keeping our trains clean and our colleagues work environments hygienic. Cleaning tables windows and touchpoints.
- Using Initiative: Proactively tackling any significant cleaning issues that could impact train services such as spills of blood or vomit and ensuring they are resolved quickly and safely. Removing litter and emptying bins.
Are you:
- Thorough and DetailOriented On our night shifts youll be part of one of two dedicated cleaning teams: Full Clean or Deep Clean. Youll ensure our trains are spotless and ready for the next days passengers maintaining a high standard of hygiene and functionality.
- Comfortable with Specialist Equipment As part of the Deep Clean team youll be trained to use specialist tools to tackle ingrained dirt across all areas of the train ensuring no spot is missed and our trains remain in peak condition.
- Adaptable and ResilientYoure comfortable working both outdoors and onboard trains handling different weather conditions and changing demands with ease.
- FlexibleYoure prepared to adapt to varying schedules including working weekends and bank holidays ensuring our trains remain clean and safe for passengers yearround.
- Keen to Learn and GrowNo prior cleaning experience is requiredour comprehensive training will give you all the skills and knowledge you need to succeed.
- Active Expect to reach a daily goal of 10000 steps while keeping our trains clean and safe for everyone.
Please note this role is safety critical and is subject to Rail Safety & Standards Board (RSSB) regulations. YouMUSTmeet the following criteria for this position or your application will be automatically rejected:
- Currently live within a 45minute car journey from the station you work from.
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
- Pass the safety critical medical assessment including and alcohol screening.
- Not have defective colour vision.
