The Facilities Management Department at SIUE is accepting applications for multiple temporary Grounds Workers. The Grounds Worker spends a substantial amount of time trimming dethatching aerating lawns and fields and seeding and sodding on all University properties. This position will maintain athletic fields/artificial turf mark out boundaries paint team logos and remove trash /recycle material. Additionally the Grounds Worker will assist in tree planting; trimming of hedges shrubs and small trees; and removing dead damaged or unwanted trees as needed. The Grounds Worker will also help plant flowers trees and shrubs; water lawns trees and landscapes; and handle removal of nuisance animals.

Work Schedule:
Positions will begin approximately in midApril and run through midOctober. Hours will be 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
