The company offers Cologuard a noninvasive stoolbased DNA screening test to detect colorectal cancer and precancer. It also provides Oncotype DX a gene expression tests for breast prostate and colon cancers; and Oncotype DX ARV7 Nucleus Detect Test a liquidbased test for advanced stage prostate cancer.
The companys pipeline products focuses on the research and development of enhancing Cologuards performance characteristics and blood or other fluidbased tests. It has license agreements with MAYO Foundation for Medical Education and Research; Biocartis N.V.; and Hologic Inc. Exact Sciences Corporation was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Madison Wisconsin.
The International Headquarter is in Zug (Switzerland).
Position Summary
TheCountry Manager France will be directly responsible for all commerciallyrelated activities within the countries: strategy development and tactical personnel management and close communication and cooperation with Manager and interdepartmental stakeholders.
This position will report to the Senior Director Europe Directs.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years of Oncology Related Sales and Marketing experience in commercializing Oncology Pharma products and/or molecular diagnostics/IVD in France combined with a proven direct involvement and track record in driving performance and deliver results in a timely and efficient manner.
Experience as Country Manager and in Market Access/contracting preferred.
Essential Duties
Include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide effective leadership and strategic direction for France in advancing our corporate presence and widening the market for Exact Sciences portfolio. This role will be responsible for all commercialization activities in France including strategy marketing sales country specific operations and reimbursement.
- Consistent demonstration of exceptional leadership qualities including but not limited to the ability to attract and retain the best team foster a culture of high performance lead with integrity humility accountability and courage and set a clear vision to energize teams towards the future.
- Effectively manage support and guide your team including but not limited to delegating tasks and responsibilities assess employee performance and provide helpful feedback and training opportunities.
- The Country Manager will develop and execute on country specific strategic and tactical plans that are prioritized to maximize opportunity through focused resourcing.
- Responsible for managing country specific P&L.
- Further build effective team of employees consultants and vendors to support business objectives. Also work closely with relevant departments within Exact Sciences.
- Develop relationships with key customers KOLs and other relevant stakeholders to support successful business growth. Establish key partnerships to maximize our business opportunity.
- Collaborate closely with Medical Societies and French Authorities including to support patient access for Exact Sciences products.
- Provide input to the overall long range and operating corporate plans. The input will be the basis for forecasts and resource allocation.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10 years of Oncology Related Sales and Marketing experience with international pharmaceutical biotechnology medical device or lab corporation several years as BU Head preferred.
- Advanced degree required MBA or PhD strongly preferred.
- Indepth understanding of commercialization of Oncology products and/or molecular diagnostics in your country. IVD experience considered a plus.
- Experience as Country Manager and in Market Access reimbursement and contracting strongly preferred.
- Experience managing a multifunctional team especially with both direct and dottedline reporting lines.

- Travel Requirements: 30 Travel.
