Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto office 250 Yonge St) and/or Client office.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelors or masters in computer science or Information Technology.
Ability to communicate in clear & concise way.
8 years application development experience in Scala REST services/microservices scalatest/Junit libraries with maven.
8 year of experience on Hive Spark using Cloudera data platform.
5 years of experience on Java spring boot Hibernate Junit.
Knowledge of performance optimization on Hadoop platform is essential using Spark and Scala.
Ability to write optimized SQL queries knowledge on postgres MS SQL Server etc.
Ability to learn & adapt.
Experience in writing Unit test cases & perform thorough unit testing.
Experience working on Unix platform
Experience working with docker containerization.
Experience on git.
Nicetohave:
Experience working with Kubernetes and helm
Experience working on python programming.
Experience on CI/CD using Jenkin
Data bricks and azure.
