Job Description
A respected engineering consulting firm based in Cape Town is seeking a Revit & CAD Operator to join their Mechanical department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and detailoriented drafter to contribute to exciting engineering projects across commercial residential and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Draft HVAC plumbing drainage and firefighting systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and design teams to interpret project requirements.
- Create and manage Revit families and templates.
- Review update and maintain technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure technical accuracy and ontime delivery.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Engineering Technology Architecture Building Design or similar.
- Minimum 25 years experience in a mechanical drafting role preferably in a consulting environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD 2D & 3D).
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and drawing standards.
- Valid drivers license & own vehicle
