Host Family Services Officer (m/f/d)
(Minijob 10h/week)
The goal of the host family program is to engage the Bremen community with Constructor University in a mutually beneficial relationship. We pair students with host families so that they can exchange experiences and cultural impressions as well as acquire memories and longlasting friendships.
We are looking for a person who is engaged with their community and interested in bringing people together as well as interacting with students from all over the world.
Your responsibilities:
Handle email and phone communication with all involved parties providing regular updates and addressing any inquiries
Process and manage applications from both students and host families facilitating the matching process to ensure compatible pairings
Archive all relevant documents and records to maintain an organized and accessible database
Plan and coordinate small events that support the Host Family Program fostering interaction and cultural exchange
Perform general office duties including administrative support document preparation
Your qualifications:
Fluent in German and English
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience in handling crosscultural interactions
Ability to work flexible working hours
Good organizational and communication skills
Willingness to familiarize with new technology/platforms
Engaged in and wellconnected to local community
