Job Description
Leggett & Platt Incorporatedis seeking Class A Truck Driver at our Ogden UT facility.
What youll do
- Transport shipments to/from customers and warehouse in a safe and timely manner
- Assist in loading and unloading of product and merchandise (At some customer locations)
- Perform daily truck and trailer inspections
- Meet all DOT and company policy requirements
- Able to follow instruction as given
- Report any problems relating to the product or process involved while performing duties
Minimum qualifications
- Must be a least 22 years of age or older
- Must have at least 1year verifiable commercial vehicle driving experience for long distance local and yard positions
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Have and maintain a Class A Commercial license
- No alcohol convictions with in previous 10 years and no more than 1 offence in a lifetime
- No misdemeanors in the past 5 years excluding moving violations or citations
- Submit to preemployment drug screen including random and or reasonable cause testing
- Effective problem resolution and the use of logic
