About your new job
You will be stationed in the Outpatient Centre at Tamworth Hospital offering frontline customer service to individuals who are referred to our range of specialties.
Team Structure:
- You will work within a collaborative 12person team with great support from your colleagues
- The administration team rotate working on the front desk of the outpatient centre and in a shared office space offering great variety in tasks and responsibilities
- Learn and be guided by an experienced and knowledgeable administration manager who will provide ongoing support
- Comprehensive training will be provided across all systems with a buddy system in place for initial training until youre comfortable and confident in the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries promptly and professionally
- Check in patients and assist with followup appointments
- Manage incoming referrals and correspondence ensuring proper handling and documentation
- Oversee and manage waitlists ensuring accurate and timely scheduling
Work Schedule:
- Shifts generally run from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- You will be required to work some 7:00 AM or 8:30 AM shifts on a rotating roster
