Your tasks at a glance
- You answer questions from surgeons and patients regarding intraocular procedures.
- You maintain tracking sheets and monthly statistical reports.
- You receive and process approval of cataract surgery by medical directors.
- You identify and solve problems as they arise.
- You plan organize and schedule patients for surgery days.
- You are comfortable standing for long periods of time.
- You are detailoriented and work with precision and accuracy.
- You will be crosstrained for the Surgical Assistant position (once you have completed your initial training).

- You have experience in the healthcare field (an asset).
- You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
- You have a sense of responsibility and take your role seriously.
- You especially thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and when you work as part of a team.
- You are comfortable with computers technology and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
- You are organized selfdisciplined and have excellent prioritization time management and problemsolving skills.
- You have excellent communication skills you speak Englishet franais galement(advanced intermediate level of French required due to the nature of the tasks or interactions with our Frenchspeaking patients).
- Schedule: You have flexible availability Monday through Friday 8:30 am4:30 pm* and Saturday on a rotating basis 9:00 am to 4:00 pm; 1x/month). *Some flexibility is required for one late evening per month 11:00 am7:00 pm).
