Job Description
STV seeks an experienced and motivated Transit Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams in successfully delivering transportation infrastructure projects. If you seek a challenging rewarding professional career the time is right to join STV. This position would be based in our Houston TX office.
Functions and responsibilities include:
- Leading managing and overseeing multidisciplinary transportation teams to deliver transit projects.
- Planning designing developing and delivering capital infrastructure projects for local and regional transit and transportation clients.
- Participating in teams identifying pursuing and securing work with key clients.
- Building and strengthening relationships with clients agencies and project partners.
- Preparing fee proposals negotiating with clients and reviewing contracts.
- Serving as the primary client liaison and managing project teams to successfully deliver projects within the established scopes schedules and budgets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Transportation Planning or a related field.
- Professional Engineer License in Texas and/or American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 or more years of relevant planningdesign and project management experience on transit infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Client relationships and experience working with the METRO TxDOT Regional Transportation District or other regional transit and transportation agencies is desired.
- Experience managing the FTA Project Development process and technical activities including NEPA compliance project justification analysis and financial planning.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD MicroStation Civil3D OpenRoads or other design and office software.
- Strong leadership management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and work within multidisciplinary teams.
- Active membership and participation in professional societies is encouraged.
Compensation Range:
