Work Schedule:Ally designates roles as 1 fully onsite 2 hybrid or 3 fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity

As a Senior Analyst on the IT/Cyber Risk team the qualified candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the of the IT/Cyber Risk Management Framework through comprehensive analytics reporting and governance activities. This individual will be responsible for analyzing trends and themes related to technology data and information security (TSD) risks. Additionally they will assist the IT/Cyber Governance Manager in executing various committee and policy oversight activities.

In office role with hybrid schedule Ally work location is Charlotte NC

The Work Itself

  • As a Senior Analyst on the IT/Cyber Risk team the qualified candidate is responsible for executing the creating and maintaining data visualizations in support of the TSD Risk Framework.
  • Conduct thematic analysis to identify and assess technology and cyber risks in alignment with industry frameworks such as NIST ISO 27001 and FFIEC.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify emerging trends and patterns in technology and cyber risks and provide actionable insights to enhance the banks risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that risk assessments and thematic analyses are integrated into the banks overall risk management framework.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on thematic analysis findings and communicate these insights to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and controls based on thematic analysis outcomes.

The Skills You Bring

  • 3 years of relevant experience required
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field of study preferred
  • Proven experience in IT/cyber risk management data analysis or a related field within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis tools Excel SQL R.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or similar.
  • General understanding of industry frameworks and standards related to technology and cyber risk management including NIST ISO 27001 and FFIEC.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM CRISC or similar are desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to think critically.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices for technology and cyber risk management.
  • Ability to work independently manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and support the IT/Cyber Governance Manager in executing committee and policy oversight activities.

Base Pay Range: $85000 $150000 USD
An individuals position in the range is determined by the specific role the scope and responsibilities of the role work experience education certification(s) training and additional qualifications. We review internal pay the competitive market and business environment prior to extending an offer.
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
