Sous la supervision du directeur de lusine le directeur de la production joue un rle essentiel dans la supervision de tout le processus de fabrication assurant une exploitation fluide aux tapes de la production de la finition et de la mise en caisse. Ce poste exige une bonne coordination avec plusieurs services afin doptimiser les flux de travail de grer les horaires de production et de maintenir les normes de scurit et de qualit les plus leves. En tant que directeur de la production vous grerez lefficacit luniformit et la conformit et vous vous assurerez que tous les aspects de la production se drouleront sans heurts tout en atteignant les objectifs oprationnels.

  • Superviser et optimiser tout le processus de fabrication en encourageant lefficacit et la qualit.

Vos tches

Leadership oprationnel

  • Superviser les oprations quotidiennes lusine en sassurant de respecter les horaires de production et les attentes des clients.
  • Affecter des travailleurs et du personnel de soutien selon les demandes de production et la disponibilit de lquipement.
  • Gerer le rendement du personnel faire des valuations rgulires et mettre en place des programmes de formation continue.
  • Travailler en troite collaboration avec le directeur de lusine le directeur de la chane dapprovisionnement et le directeur des services techniques pour assurer une exploitation fluide.
  • Mener des initiatives damlioration des processus toutes les tapes de la production.

Scurit et conformit

  • Sassurer que toutes les rglementations de sant et de scurit sont respectes et grer proactivement les risques.
  • Intgrer des systmes de scurit dusine dans les flux de travail et maintenir des normes leves de scurit.
  • Mener des enqutes en cas dincident laide doutils structurs comme lanalyse des 5pourquoi.

Gestion de la qualit et de lefficacit

  • Travailler avec le directeur de la qualit pour maintenir des normes de production leves.
  • Analyser les donnes de production afin de dceler les goulots dtranglement et mettre en place des mthodes lean et Six Sigma.
  • Prendre des dcisions stratgiques concernant les heures supplmentaires la dotation de personnel et laffectation des ressources.

Perfectionnement des employs et motivation

  • Diriger encadrer et crer une quipe hautement performante incluant des superviseurs de la production des chefs dquipe et des programmeurs de CNO.
  • Favoriser une culture de relations positives entre les employs de responsabilisation et de travail dquipe.

Comptences pour prosprer ce poste

  • Un fort leadership et des comptences en gestion dquipe pour motiver les employs et les perfectionner.
  • Excellentes capacits en rsolution de problmes et analyses pour grer efficacement et surmonter les difficults de production.

  • Baccalaurat dans un domaine pertinent ou exprience quivalente
  • Bilingue en franais et anglais exig:

Reporting to the Plant Manager the Production Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the entire manufacturing process ensuring seamless production finishing and crating operations. This position requires strong coordination with multiple departments to optimize workflow manage production schedules and uphold the highest quality and safety standards. As Production Manager you will drive efficiency consistency and compliance ensuring that all aspects of production run smoothly while meeting operational goals.

  • Work closely with the Plant Manager Supply Chain Manager and Technical Services Manager to ensure seamless operations.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives across all phases of production.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are met and proactively address risks.
  • Integrate plant safety systems into the workflow and maintain high safety standards.
  • Conduct incident investigations using structured tools like 5Why analysis.

Quality & Efficiency Management

  • Work alongside the Quality Manager to maintain high production standards.
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Make strategic decisions on overtime staffing and resource allocation.

Employee Development & Engagement

  • Lead mentor and develop a highperforming team including Production Supervisors Team Leads and CNC Programmers.
  • Foster a culture of positive employee relations accountability and teamwork.
