To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth this Summer were looking to add a Process Engineering Intern 1st Shift) located in our Columbia SC site.
Reporting to the Automation Engineering Team the Intern will assist with daily tasks while learning collaborating and working alongside Engineers and crossfunctional teams.
What a typical day looks like:
- Assist Engineering Team with meeting site production objectives
- Reviewing documentation CAD drawings and reporting finding to team
- Monitoring bottlenecks and making recommendations to management
- Attend team meetings and support project work as needed
Student qualities were seeking for this internship assignment:
- Sophomore/Junior student pursuing Mechanical/Industrial Engineering major
- CAD tools (Solidworks) experience
- Chrono analysis
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis
- Lean/Six Sigma helpful
- Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work 1st Shift: MF; 7am3pm
- Highly collaborative creative and excellent communication skills
- Previous internship experience a plus!
Internship Program Requirements:
- 1012 week Summer assignment (inperson)
- Available to work 40 hours/week
- Currently enrolled in 4year accredited university
- 3.0 GPA
