Job Summary
The Learning and Development Specialist Production (Residential) is responsible for training franchise teams on remediation and construction for residential properties. Responsibilities include preparing learners for Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) and supports a diverse audience through inperson ondemand and virtual training. This position reports directly to the Manager Learning and Development.
You will
- Develop and deliver training on residential remediation (e.g. water fire mold) and construction techniques including industry standards financial opportunity and best practices.
- Prepare learners for industry exams and certifications and work towards becoming a certified instructor of relevant and desirable certifications.
- Develop multimodal training content including inperson events ondemand modules and virtual sessions.
- Adapt training to meet the needs of learners with varying levels of experience from beginners to advanced technicians.
- Stay current on residential remediation and construction trends and certifications to ensure training reflects the latest methods and technology.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure training programs are aligned with current needs of the industry and organization.
- Ongoing education to stay updated with the latest best practices in learning and development.
- Ongoing education to maintain relevant certifications such as Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) and Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT).
- Evaluate training outcomes and refine programs based on learner performance and feedback.
You have
- 3 years of experience in residential remediation construction or training with knowledge of IICRC standards.
- Experience designing and delivering multimodal training (inperson virtual ondemand).
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to teach technical content to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with learning platforms and content development tools.
- Indepth knowledge of residential remediation and construction processes practices to include subcontracting best practices.
- Ability to prepare learners for technical certifications like IICRC.
- Creative approach to making technical training accessible and engaging.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate and improve training programs.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Education Construction Management Environmental Science or a related field.
Working Conditions
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule with at least three days per week onsite presence at Servpro HQ with some travel for necessary training and corporate events.
- Fastpaced highpressure office environment.
- Standard working hours based on a 40hour work week.
- Additional working hours required as needed to complete assignments and projects on schedule.
- Minimal travel as required for business needs.
- Work location: Hybrid Headquarters.
