Job Description
The Role
Ventia are currently looking to engage a qualified and experiencedElectrician to join our team at Campbell Barracks in Swanbourne WA. In this role you will be responsible for electrical maintenance across a defence base including repairs planned and reactive maintenance campaigns as well as high voltage switching programs.
This position is a fulltime permanent role working Monday to Friday 07:00am 03:30pm paying $44.80 per hour plus overtime penalties.

Key duties but not limited to:
- Conduct maintenance tasks including inspection classification repairs & planned works
- Complete work orders and verify tasks in accordance with requirements
- Report and qualify detected equipment faults to supervisors
- Fault finding activities & reactive maintenance
- Develop & carry out HV switching programmes
- Small Installations emergency lighting lamp changes and strip outs
Skills & Experience:
- WA Drivers License
- Trade Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician
- WA Electrical Licence
- Experienced in low voltage faultfinding and general maintenance
- High Voltage Switching Operations qualification Highly regarded
- Previous exposure to high voltage installations Highly regarded
To be considered for this position you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check.
