We are seeking a highly motivated Manager Production for Machine shop Oragadam Chennai to join our Production team on a fulltime basis.
Position Description:
Machine Shop Manager oversees the daily operations personnel and production processes within the machine shop ensuring efficiency and safety operations while maintaining quality standards and meeting production goals.
Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Responsible for meeting immediate and shortterm objectives provided by Production Manager (Monthly Biweekly Weekly Daily).
- To Control cost of Production Tools & Consumables Factory supplies with respect to budget.
- To maintain CNC program Fixtures and to develop new product machining.
- Effective manpower utilization and efficiency level.
- To follow up with inter departments like Subcontract Stores PPC Purchase for smooth flow of production.

- Basic of Solidworks
- MasterCAM or other tools

- Lean manufacturing principles
- Knowledge on Heat treatment and surface coating
- GD&T SPC
- OEE

Requirements :
Academic/Professional Education:
- BE in Mechanical Engineering
Relevant Experience:
- 1215 years of experience in CNC Machine shop and quality systems.
- Oversee production processes implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies and manage team performance.
