Job Description
Job Title: Economist/Economics Teacher
Reports to: Department Head/Manager
Job Summary:
Were seeking a qualified Economist/Economics Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will teach economics to students develop curriculum and conduct research.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach economics to students of various ages and skill levels.
2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curriculum.
3. Conduct research and stay updated on economic trends and policies.
4. Analyze economic data and develop forecasts.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate economics with other disciplines.
Requirements
1. Bachelors/Masters degree in Economics or related field.
2. Teaching certification or license (if applicable).
3. Proven experience in teaching economics or economic research.
4. Strong knowledge of economic theories models and policies.
5. Excellent analytical communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Experience with economic modeling and forecasting.
2. Familiarity with statistical software (e.g. R Stata).
3. Certification in economics or related field.
Working Hours:
Fulltime position following the academic calendar (for teachers) or standard business hours (for economists).
