Our challenge
We are looking for a detailoriented and experienced Core Java Software Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working in a geographically dispersed team the candidate will be responsible for front to back project delivery and should be able to mentor and motivate junior team members. The candidate will be selfmotivated and should be able to work in a dynamic environment with limited or no supervision.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law the base salary for this role if filled within Alpharetta GA is$115k $120k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop APIs using core Java/Spring/Microservices Design Pattern and advance technologies.
- Implement OOPS concepts in development phase of application development.
- Develop application code write unit tests and integration tests using Junit.
- Work closely with business stakeholders design teams and downstream systems.
- Support the production release monitoring and triaging issues on time.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of serverside languages including Java and SQL.
- Experience with React Angular 10 CSS and frontend technologies.
- Spring Boot Web services.
- Solid understanding and experience with ObjectOriented design and development.
- Good understanding of data structures algorithms and design patterns.
- Strong architectural design skills.
- A thorough understanding of web technologies and web architectures including responsive design.
- Source control (preferably Git) Continuous Integration tools.
- Knowledge of internet attack vectors protection mechanisms web application vulnerabilities and their solutions.
Preferred but not required:
- Banking/Financial Services experience.
- Leading a technical team.
