Overview
In the Capital Markets technology team you will be supporting a global business of bankers across Corporate Finance divisions (Debt Capital Markets (DCM) ECM Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Leverage Debt Capital Markets (LDCM). We are seeking an Extreme Programmer (XP) to design and build solutions for our issuance applications. As an engineer you will engage directly with end users actively contribute to requirements and design new loosely coupled services. You should have have experience in producing quality testable and stable code designed for the future. You must keep abreast of new technologies with an eagerness to learn pair mentoring and coach in a collaborative team.

What Youll Do
Design and develop highquality solutions for frontoffice
Writing robust well tested software

Continuous improvement on process XP tools and techniques
Skills Youll Need
Good knowledge of Java moderate experience Java Reflection and Concurrency Spring Java Persistence API (JPA) AOP
Experienced developer in complex business facing applications
Good knowledge of data modelling principles best practice and clean architecture
Ability to deal with monolithic application and a vision how to decouple it gradually rather than rewriting the application from scratch
Will be a plus: Oracle PL/SQL knowledge GWT EclipseLink AOP Grafana Prometheus
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
An advocate of Testdriven development pair/mob programming iterative development DevOps knowledge: CI Servers Container based deployment e.g. OpenShift Kubernetes Docker
Willing to learn and work in different languages our group currently uses Java Clojure and Kotlin amongst others
History of working in collaborative team environments
Expectations
It is the Banks expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Banks hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100000 to $142250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including but not limited to a candidates skill set experience education work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
