Job Description
Global Dimensions is a HUBZone service disabled veteranowned small business based in Fredericksburg VA. We are a dynamic expanding company with exciting opportunities in language/culture training/education/instruction IT cyber security and intelligence (analysts CI HUMINT SIGINT etc.. Positions are available at both CONUS and OCONUS and for both short and longterm durations.
Global Dimensions is currently seeking a Field Service Tech II to provide technical expertise on Armored MultiPurpose Vehicle (AMPV). Technical expertise includes intimate knowledge of all mechanical airconditioning systems hydraulic electrical power management automotive fire control weapons systems remote weapons firing systems and other subsystems and ability to identify and troubleshoot faults. Provide leadership and direction to field service and training for maintenance and administrative support personnel. Typical duties will include traveling to military bases to perform vehicle upgrades and modifications inspection repair services and maintenance.
Requirements
- Must have a Secret clearance. Secret Eligible to start
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3 to 5 years in a field service role Mobil mechanic or experience as a heavy equipment mechanic automotive technician
- Must be able to pass Drug and Background check

Preferred

- Existing Secret Clearance preferred
- Armored tracked vehicle experience
- Private sector experience in diagnosing repair and servicing of heavy equipment
- 8 years of experience in a field service role or mobile diesel mechanic dealership experience mechanic/Technician.
- Quality assurance and vehicle inspection experience.
- Private sector OEM training or ASE certifications or Automotive Degree
