Neuberger Bermans Compliance team is seeking an Administrative Coordinator and Compliance Analyst to support the firms compliance policies while adherence to regulations and firm standards. This role plays an integral part of Neuberger Berman in helping the firm coordinate its global compliance programs and helping develop its policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative coordination and compliance support to the Chief Compliance Officer and other senior members of the Legal and Compliance team
Answer screen and route a high volume of phone calls for multiple members of the department; communicate accurate and detailed messages as needed
Assist and perform various compliance related responsibilities including but not limited to conducting due diligence and reviewing various surveillance reports
Type edit and prepare correspondence while also organizing litigation and other legal files
Perform general administrative duties (binding presentations expense reports billing/invoicing supply orders mail distribution)
Maintenance of team calendars including scheduling conference room bookings and greeting clients
Travel coordination including flight hotel and ground
Compliance responsibilities may include surveillance activities research and risk assessments
Qualifications:
College degree and minimum of oneyear administrative experience preferred (knowledge/ experience of financial institutions is a plus)
Desire and drive to learn the business and contribute to the team and the organizational goals while being proactive in anticipating issues
Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on strong client service and ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership
Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle multiple ongoing tasks in a fastpaced environment
Ability to exercise discretion when managing confidential information
Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs including Word Excel and PowerPoint
Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $70000$85000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employees pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location business sector performance shift travel requirements sales or revenuebased metrics market benchmarking data any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus which along with base salary and retirement contributions is part of our total comprehensive package.
