The Opportunity:The Employment Consultant is responsible for delivering Employment Solutions programs in the College (Sault Ste. Marie) catchment area. The Employment Consultant is responsible for developing planning implementing and monitoring client activities related to employment training programs and services and may include case management assisted services such as employment consulting coaching/mentoring placement and resource and information services to assist unemployed workers to return to employment. This also includes participant recruitment and client marketing to employers training plan development prescreening workshop delivery group facilitation matching participants to vacancies monitoring activities file documentation and statistical collection. Incumbent will work in a performancebased system that includes targets and core measures which in turn gives a framework for program delivery.
With respects to the delivery and day to day operations of the Employment Solutions the incumbent functions as a member of the delivery team and operates in a CQI environment.
