The Hennepin County Behavioral Health area is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Mental Health Center (MHC) a state Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) dedicated to offering wideranging mental health and substance use disorder care.The person hired for this role will assess and provide ongoing psychiatric treatment for children and adolescents with mood disorders attentiondeficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) conduct disorders autism spectrum disorders developmental disabilities and other serious emotional disorders. This work will also include assessing and providing ongoing psychiatric treatment for adults with various mental health needs. This person willwork closely with staff psychiatrists psychologists psychotherapists nurses and other nurse practitioners to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to Hennepin County residents.

Location and hours:
This onsite position is located at theMental Health Center (MHC) in the South Hennepin County Human Service Center at 2215 East Lake Street Minneapolis MN 55407. Typical work hours are between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday with limited early evening hours. No weekend overnight or holiday shifts are required. New Employee Orientation (NEO) for all new benefitearning employees is inperson in downtown Minneapolis. Details about NEO will be provided upon hire.
