Production Operative
Job Role
Our client based in Bury St Edmunds currently have a vacancy in their busy foundry for a production operative. The successful candidate will be working within their existing team and after full training manufacturing cast parts for a wide and varied customer/application position has become available due to a significant increase in workload and the successful candidate must be flexible to undertake various duties.
Job Responsibilities
- To perform all tasks with regards to health and safety.
- Finishing castings to a high standard
- Monitor and adjust machine settings for efficiency.
- Inspect materials for defects
Person specification
- Full training and safety equipment will be given to the successful candidate
- Attention to detail and handeye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness.
Hours of Work and Pay
- Company hours are: 5.30am 3pm Monday Thursday 37hr week)
- 11.50 per hour
- An immediate start date is available and rates of pay negotiable depending on experience.
