Role Description
This role involves managing taxrelated communications preparing information for various tax filings and coordinating compliance with US Canadian and global jurisdictions. It also includes assisting with income tax provision working papers for financial statement reporting and supporting the of global transfer pricing policies.
Responsibilities
Manage tax mail (physical) and email inboxes
Prepare information for monthly GST/HST filings
Manage monthly quarterly and annual sales tax filings
Coordinate with US State and local jurisdictions for various compliance obligations registrations and license renewals.
Prepare monthly account reconciliations as part of the financial statement close process
Assist in the preparation of quarterly income tax provision working papers to be reviewed by the Tax Manager
Assist in the gathering of information for annual income tax returns prepared by third party providers globally
Manage monthly quarterly and annual income tax instalment payments as directed by the Tax Manager
Assist in the of the Companys Global Transfer Pricing Policies
Qualifications
12 years experience in a Tax Coordinator OR Assistant role
Previous work experience in finance is preferred. An Accounting Designation is not required.
Experience working in a professional office environment
Proficiency in Excel and practical experience with Accounting ERP systems
Strong organizational and time management skills
Comfortable working in a collaborative work environment with other finance team members
Effective communication skills Written and verbal to interact with internal team members and external service providers
Selfmotivated and able to work independently

The Compensation Range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and jobrelated factors such as qualifications experience knowledge and skills.
