Job Description

Job Description Summary
Work study students in the University Career Center will have the opportunity to develop their interpersonal and professional development skills while contributing to the UCCs mission. Interns will gain valuable experience as they assist with the coordination and of UCC events and have direct exposure to employers recruiting at Villanova. Events may be in person or virtual. Responsibilities: Assist in event management of any kind including but not limited to: Set up event according to Career Center guidelines (this may involve picking materials up from Career Center and helping guests set up in room technology) Greet employers presenters guests of the UCC Checkin employer and student attendees Occasional introduction of employers/guests at the start of the event Collect the contact details of the presenters and deliver back to the Career Center Remain for the duration of the event to troubleshoot and facilitate Q&A (as needed) Clean up after the event (this may involve returning materials to the Career Center and helping dispose of leftover catering) Schedule time to meet with Career Center office staff prior to an event to discuss details
