The ideal candidate for this position is someone who thrives on clear communication has a passion for supporting technicians and drivers and enjoys working in a fastpaced customerfocused environment. Youre detailoriented techsavvy and comfortable explaining technical issues in a way that anyone can understand. Bonus points if youve worked in trucking trailer service or automotive repair!
Hiring Range: Starting at $26/hr (negotiable based on experience)

What Youll Do
As a Shop Service Writer youll:
- Greet drivers and customers
- Answer service inquiries by phone and email and coordinating maintenance schedules with technicians
- Create clear and accurate service estimates
- Track parts orders and review invoices for billing accuracy
- Support shop operations by keeping service records uptodate and helping manage workflow in a busy trailer maintenance shop.
Knowledge and Skills to be successful:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to clearly explain technical repairs to nontechnical individuals
Solid organizational skills for managing multiple service orders and appointments
Familiarity with truck/trailer systems and maintenance is a plus
Experience using service management software or similar tools
High attention to detail especially in documentation and billing
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
Willingness to work in a shop environment with varying conditions

About the Role
The salary grade for this position ranges from $25.24 to $34.80/hr. While offers will be based on experience and qualifications the targeted pay range for this role is $26.00 $29.00/hr.
