About the Role
Join our small but well supported team of committed therapists focussed on providing intensive family therapy based on MultiSystemic Therapy (Child Abuse and Neglect) framework in Tamworth NSW. Enjoy a welcoming regional community located on the traditional lands of the Kamilaroi Gamilaroi and Gomeroi people where you will have the opportunity to experience the world class Tamworth Country Music festival street buskers awardwinning restaurants set amongst a laid back easygoing lifestyle.
As a Clinician within our MultiSystemic Therapy (Child Abuse and Neglect) team you will provide inhome clinical services to families negotiate therapeutic goals and use systemic resources to assist in meeting these goals. The mission of MSTCAN is to keep families together and ensure that children are safe while reducing mental health difficulties and increasing social supports.
This is an internationally recognised program specifically designed to treat 617 yearolds and their families. MSTCAN is unique in that it supports all family members to be involved with treatment which reduces the risk of children entering outofhome care.
This is a challenging role that requires outside the box thinking; and a Whatever it takes attitude. Having said that well invest in you with full MST training and opportunities to learn we will evolve your practice and provide you with the opportunity to work in ways that make a genuine difference for vulnerable children and families within the community.
