Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provision of best in class service to customers
- Meet sales targets through sales and sales related activities
- Follow up with quotes orders and posted invoices
- Keep sales environment stocked clean and tidy
- Focus on various Vistek sales programs to enhance sales
- Keep personally up to date on products through myVistek seminars web magazines discussions with colleagues membership in associations etc.
- Actively seeks methods to increase his/her client database.
- Create optimal opportunities through:
- Offering attachments and other upselling as appropriate
- Follow up on quotes
- Follow up calls to previous customers
- Keep environment organized clean and tidy
- Complete other duties projects and tasks as assigned.
- Provide support to Rentals Department when needed
COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with all types of people in a positive fashion
- Have an anything for the customer attitude
- Ability to advise others on best choices for their production requirements
- Sufficient assertiveness to be able to ask for the sale and close.
- Focused on the end result: meeting sales targets with happy customers
- Focused on continuous learning to stay in touch with latest technology
- Detailed accurate whilemultitasking
- Presents a professional image to match the Vistek brand
- Able to lift 30 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate of a recognized postsecondary photographic video or related program or relevant experience
- Comfortable working knowledge of top brands
- 1 or more years working in a professional photographic environment
- Competent in Microsoft suite and Mac operating systems
- Comfortable using computerized inventory or other ERP system
- Previous retail experience considered a definite asset
- Videography experience considered an asset
