We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teamoriented veterinary technician to join our growing practice.Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Specialists (CVSS) Hunt Valley location shares a new 2 yr old) 48000 sq foot facility with veterinary internists cardiologists ophthalmologists neurologists rehabilitation therapists & a 24hour emergency clinic. The building has a CT unit MRI unit and an Underwater Treadmill.
Our ideal candidate must be highly motivated have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently. Must be able to work 4 10 hour days between the hours of 7a7p (MF) and2 weekend shifts per month 8am12pm)
Job Title:Veterinary ICU Technician (Hunt Valley)
JOB SUMMARY: The ICU Technicians role is to promote a professional environment where the emphasis is placed on quality patient care in the ICU. The ICU Technician will be scheduled to work BETWEEN the hours of 7am and 7pm Monday Friday and plays a vital role in providing competent and compassionate basic care by assisting the surgeons in ICU with their patients. The ICU Technician provides support to the surgeons and all other CVSS employees as needed to ensure highquality patient and client care.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3 years experience as a veterinary technician working in ICU
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Skill in multitasking delegating prioritizing AND accomplishing tasks
Able to effectively handle stressful situations
Knowledge base and technical skills should be of a level to ensure carrying out of essential duties and responsibilities

To provide excellent patient care within the ICU area of CVSS
