Job Title: Shipping Clerk
Location: White GA
Position Type: Temp to Hire
Pay: $17.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Shipping Clerks for a manufacturing warehouse located in Acworth!
Qualifications for Shipping Clerks:
After meeting all of PPS standard qualifications Candidate must meet below qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma/GED.
Warehouse experience is required.
Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.
Assignment Duties for Shipping Clerks:
Prepare and process shipment documentation including bills of lading a shipping labels.
Ensure accuracy of shipment details such as weight quantity and destination.
Coordinate with other departments and carriers to schedule and track shipments.
Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments for damages and discrepancies.
Operate shipping equipment such as pallet jacks and forklift to load and unload material.
Organize and maintain inventory of shipped and received products.
Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and delivery schedules.
Handle and resolve any problems or issues related to shipping and receiving.
Shift Details: MondayFriday 7:00AM4:00PM
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
