The Data Ingestion and Infrastructure team builds infrastructure pipelines and platforms to help support and modernize large data processing that have made Redfin the most trusted realestate site in the US.
The Role
As a Software Engineer II you will work on Redfins data platforms and pipelines that help keep data updated faster and higher quality than our competitors.
Youll build products and tools that drive some of the companys most critical metrics and impact revenue growth. We are helping create the best possible home buying or selling experience one feature at a time.
Youll work on aligning Redfins Airflow environments under a common umbrella
You will develop large scale applications backed by relational and nonrelational databases
You will build tooling to help monitor maintain and update essential data.
About You
You are an experienced developer with 23 years of experience developing large data processing platforms.
You have experience developing large scale applications backed by relational and nonrelational databases we utilize Kafka Java Python Postgres SQL K8s Jenkins Snowflake Spark and Airflow in AWS.
You have built tooling to help monitor maintain and update essential data
Youre curious and a lifelong learner: youre willing to take risks and champion new ideas.
You will exercise thought leadership in designing architecting and implementing solutions for difficult challenges faced by your partner teams
You are a teacher and a mentor: you have the leadership skills (and the patience) to improve the developers around you.
You live and breathe a culture of quality data service to customers operational partners and teammates.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable disclosure requirements.
Base Pay Range: $121900..00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances including the position location individual qualifications market finances and other operational business needs.
