You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailRole: Finance Officer as part of the halow project a charity providing support to adults with learning disabilities.
Location: Our head office is based in central Guildford where this role will be based (hybrid working available).
Hours: MonFri 37.5 hours pw
Salary: 30000
Annual Leave: 33 days inclusive of bank holidays.
Training: You will receive fully paid training supplementing any previously completed relevant training with further development opportunities also available to progress your role and career.
You will be responsible for:
Handling all company expenses.
Issuing monthly invoices and statements.
Making cash and cheque deposits if required.
Performing daily bank reconciliations.
Maintaining the fixed assets register
Supporting tasks such as credit control month end journaling and archiving.
Liaising with Fundraising team to ensure grants / donations are accurately recorded and monitored. Crossreferencing Excel income sheets to allocate funds to the correct coding.
Assisting with yearend and other adhoc tasks if required.
Demonstrate experience of bookkeeping using accounting software and working with databases.
Excellent excel skills and attention to detail.
(Desirable) Experience using Xero
(Desirable) Qualification (e.g. AAT CIMA ACCA etc) in accounting bookkeeping or related field preferred.
Suitable references.
Aged 18 and above.
Right to work in the UK
Please note we are currently unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
Willing to undertake an BasicDBS Check. The initial cost of the DBS application will be paid for by halow.
