Assemble various initiating system products within the SF2 Plant

Required outputs: functional

  • Assemble various initiating system products: shocktube assemblies surface assemblies electronics assemblies and export detonators:
  • Detonator Platting and rubber sleeve insertion into non propagating blocks
  • Tagging and printing of Cobra Clip and box making and sealing
  • Service Raw Materials and operation of coiling machines
  • Operation of electronic assembly machine operation of 3G Clip Machine Solder NETSHOCK/ DIGISHOT/ HOTSHOT/SMARTSHOT Wire onto EIU Assembly Operating Long Length Coiler attainment of production plans.
  • Operation of ultrasonic sealing machines and assemble various component into an initiating system unit
  • SHE Plant Specific Procedures & Rules : Assemble various initiating system products while adhering to following and observing safety health and environmental requirements
  • Operating Quality Parameters: Competency in Quality standards required for the assembly process and understanding of quality objectives
  • Minor Equipment Maintenance: Understanding decontamination procedures and machine cleaning procedures

Qualifications & Experience
  • A minimum qualification of Grade 12 (Matric)/N3 preferably with technical subjects.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanically inclined.
