Department Summary: Language Services
The Alfred Healths Language Services Department is responsible for the provision of all internal and external interpreting services to patients from a culturally and linguistically diverse background and their families/significant others across the three campuses Alfred Hospital Caulfield Hospital and Sandringham Hospital. The Language Services Department operates in accordance with the philosophy and goals of The Alfred and operationally reports to the Speech Pathology Manager and Deputy Manager. A focus on supporting patient centred care is a primary goal of the Department. Language Services aims to facilitate the engagement of patients in the care process through the provision of language interpretation and translation of health information.
Position Summary
An exciting opportunity currently exists for an experienced Russian Interpreter or Russian Interpreter/Translator to join our Language Services Department.
