Job Description

General Summary of Position:

The Department of Chemistry at University of Massachusetts Lowell seeks a parttime Adjunct Instructor to teach a range of classes including Organic Chemistry I Chemistry I and II Forensics Science for the NonScientist. The appointment is scheduled to begin in September 2025 or January 2026.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Applicants must have earned a Ph.D degree in chemistry or closely related discipline

Additional Considerations:

  • College Level Teaching Experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to speak and write English clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively with students faculty and diverse populations.
