Job Description
Do you want to disrupt the financial landscape by creating design experiences that reach millions of Amazon customers Amazon Payment Products is seeking a strategic designer who can drive innovation in payment products and make a significant impact on how people interact with Amazons financial products and programs.
At Amazon Payment Products we manage a diverse portfolio from consumer credit cards like Prime Visa and Amazon Store Card to rewards programs and installment partnerships. Our team is constantly pushing boundaries to create new products pursue new partnerships or create marketleading features that simplify and enhance our customers financial experiences.
You bring a unique blend of creativity and strategic thinking from 5 years of creating experiences for leading consumer brands. You have a deep understanding of design principles and keen attention to detail. You are an organized selfstarter who can deal with ambiguity and deliver independently. You are an excellent crossfunctional collaborator and are comfortable presenting and defending your ideas to other designers marketers product managers engineers and leaders.
In this role youll collaborate across design (visual and user experience) marketing and product teams. Youll transform customer insights into compelling visual narratives using data to guide your creative decisions. Your work will directly impact how millions of customers experience Amazons financial products.
You thrive in a fastpaced startuplike environment and are always on the lookout for ways to improve and simplify. You are a master of your craft capable of designing inspiring campaigns and creative that captivate customers. You get into the details but never lose the big picture. Above all you are passionate about solving problems for real people.
5 years of design experience
Have an available online portfolio
Experience working with agile development teams (agile/scrum/kanban)
Experience in Adobe Creative Suit applications with high proficiency in Adobe Illustrator Photoshop InDesign and Acrobat using macOS
Knowledge of branding guidelines and corporate identity visual design print and digital layout design with experience in designing for both mobile and desktop applications
Outstanding portfolio demonstrating strong visual design fundamentals humancentered design solutions and measurable results
Expertise in Figma
Ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity (verbally and in writing) to audiences from peers to senior leadership
Experience with distributed team collaboration
Proficient scaling efficiently and effectively for multiple partners and channels
Experience using data and consumer insights to inform creative decision making
Bachelors degree in design or equivalent experience
Experience with ecommerce search social and other major application types and their UX patterns
Experience creating services and applications with multiple user touch points on different platforms and devices
Experience with motion design and video editing is a bonus
Fintech or banking design experience
Marketing design experience
Knowledge of information architecture usability UI and UX design

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
