Manufacturing Engineer CNC Machining
This individual will be responsible for developing implementing and optimizing CNC machining processes for both new and existing components.
Job Description
Develop machining processes for both new and existing parts to meet production and quality targets.
Create CNC machining programs using CAM software to optimize tool paths and machine efficiency.
Support the introduction of new CNC equipment from planning phases through production launch.
Implement and refine CNC processes to support product development and prototype builds.
Design and validate complex NC machining processes emphasizing reliability and repeatability.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including maintenance production and engineering to resolve manufacturing issues.
Provide daily troubleshooting support to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Lead efforts to develop and improve NC machining processes and perishable tooling systems.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost enhance quality and improve safety.
Conduct process trials and testing of new technologies documenting detailed plans and outcomes.
Apply knowledge of manufacturing tooling principles and tool design to improve operations.
Interpret GD&T engineering drawings and 3D product models accurately and effectively.
Maintain accurate documentation standards and archival resources for the NC programming group.
Requirements
Proficiency with 3D CAD software (Creo preferred).
Experience with CAM software such as EdgeCAM FeatureCAM or Creo/NC.
Familiarity with offline simulation tools preferably Vericut.
Experience using tool data management software (TDM Systems preferred).
Strong NC programming capabilities with a focus on efficiency and precision.
Solid understanding of machining centers especially in cast iron machining environments.
Knowledgeable in tooling and tool holding systems.
Competency in standard computer applications and office software.
Practical experience with inprocess gauging techniques.
Multiaxis CNC machining experience including work with Mazak machines.

Pay Range: $65000$85000 Commensurate with experience
