Job Description
Do you have a passion for working with people who have an intellectual disability Do you have the ability to help employees develop skills in personcentered supports Are you a leader who inspires empathy and has the skills to develop a strong team Were looking for an energetic person to oversee a home supporting people with developmental disabilities.
This candidate must have a bachelors degree in human services or a related field. They must have a minimum of 4 years of experience working with people who have an ID/DD diagnosis. Two of those years need to be as a supervisor preferably in an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF). Having experience working under OPWDD regulations is strongly preferred.
This position is included in the oncall rotation. The schedule may include evenings overnights and weekends as needed. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday during the day.

- The payrate for this position is $34.61.
Experience/Education:
- A bachelors degree in human services or a related field
- Experience working with people who have a developmental disability can be substituted for the college degree on a yearforyear basis
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with people with developmental /intellectual disabilities
- 2 years of this experience must have been in a supervisory capacity
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Valid NYS drivers license acceptable to Agency insurance standards.
- Satisfactory completion of Agency training within six months of employment.
- Strong organizational teambuilding communication skills and familiarity with the regulatory requirements of an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF).
