The Opportunity
HVAC is one of the biggest consumers of energy in the health industry. As we already use high efficiency air handling units at site Penzberg steam driven humidification is still an avoidable CO2 emission. Driving innovation in this area is crucial to make an impact. Within this opportunity you can minimize emissions based on a new minimum setpoint and shape the potential of running pilot with reduced humidification parameters. You can gain experience in operations that is unique due to its innovative character. Your analysis will be done on all existing and running diagnostics HVAC buildings. You will identify if this concept fulfills its reduction proposal and lead technical for applicable buildings. We want to standardize roll out and make it scalable to other areas. With this you can impact site Penzberg the sites network and energy consumption in future.
Who You Are
You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelors or Masters studies at a university preferably in the field of engineering (e.g. HVAC energy utilities) within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months and getting to know a global player in the health industry.
You want to showcase your technical skills and passions as well as your commitment to sustainability.
Furthermore you are
Understanding of thermodynamics and automation preferred
Understanding of HVAC basics preferred
Dealing with technical documents preferred
Approaching others openly preferred
Passion for sustainability required
