Fulltime Kennel Hand

The team at Thornleigh Vet Hospital are looking for a fulltimel kennel hand to join our team.

Whats the job

  • You will learn how to look after our boarders including cleaning feeding and of course lots of pats and play time.

  • Shifts will be some weekdays 8:30am to 1pm) some weekends (hours vary but usually between 8am and 1pm) and possibly some public holidays.

  • You will also have the opportunity to see how a vet hospital is run and learn the basics of animal attendant work.

  • This is a great chance to work with an awesome friendly team who will teach you a lot!

  • Opportunities to rise within the business e.g. vet nurse.

What we are after:

  • No experience necessary we will teach you!

  • A proactive person with a commonsense approach and attention to detail.

  • Ideal for someone who is thinking about entering the veterinary or animal industry and wants baselevel experience.

  • Must be a pet lover and preferably a pet owner but we will teach you pet body language and how to safely interact with our boarders.

  • A friendly person who is willing to interact positively with clients and staff.
