The City is looking for an outgoing and customerservice minded person with effective communication skills to be our next Public Works Maintenance Worker in the Water/Sewer Division!
What will you do in this position- Perform a variety of unskilled and semiskilled routine repair tasks within the Water and Sewer Division of the Public Works Department (PWD).
- Read and repair water meters.
- Flush and repair water and sewer systems (valves hydrants).
- Perform a variety of routine traffic control activities as needed.
- Respond to emergencies as directed on a 24hour basis.
- Complete required daily logs and reports using maintenance management software.
- Have an interest and passion for serving the community.
- Openly welcome new ideas and other perspectives.
- Be able to adapt in different and changing environments.
