Carlton Fields is seeking a Paralegal for its Miami office.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum 5 years of immigration paralegal experience. This position will support the firms immigration practice in a busy downtown office.
Qualified candidates must be bilingual (English/Spanish) demonstrate professionalism confidentiality initiative flexibility organizational skills customer service skills and the ability to be proactive. Qualified candidates must also possess mastery of Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook as well as knowledge and 2 years experience using electronic document management systems and immigration case management software. Filesite experience is preferred.
Duties of the position include but are not limited to:
- Preparation and filing of nonimmigrant visa petitions including but not limited to H1B individual and L1 Blanket L1 TN O1 E2 and E3
- Preparation and filing of immigrant visa petitions including EB1 Extraordinary Ability; EB1 Priority Worker petitions; EB2 and EB3 petitions and EB5 petitions
- Preparation and filing of Naturalization applications; reentry permit applications and abandonment applications
- Preparation and filing of Labor Certification Applications under the PERM program
- Preparation and filing of familybased petitions
- Preparation and filing of Immigrant Visa Petition sat U.S. Consulate post
Actual salaries will vary depending upon various factors including relevant experience and skillset. The salary range listed is just one component of the Carlton Fields total compensation package for employees. Other monetary rewards include annual discretionary bonuses based on performance and profitsharing contributions based on eligibility and firm profitability.
