The Grocery People are hiring a Grocery Manager for our Wholesale Market in Edmonton AB.

What youll do:
The Grocery Manager provides leadership to the Front End NonFoods HBC Bakery Frozen Food and Dry Grocery Departments through:
- Promotion of the TGP brand (Fresh Local and Personal) and assisting in the development planning and of key business goals.
- Providing excellent customer service a fresh ready for business presentation and enthusiastic leadership for all Wholesale Market team members.
- Participation in meetings with the leadership team to review sales margins and costs lead toolbox meetings and ensure food safety programs and policies are followed.
- Partnership with the Manager participation in recruitment and training of new employees and management of performance through appraisals progressive discipline and the rewarding of positive behavior.
- Will act as an oncall manager in the absence of the Manager.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
- Have 3 6 years of experience in a retail environment with 1 year of Supervisory or Lead.
- Have a Grade 12 diploma (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Have First Aid.
- Have excellent customer service communication and collaboration skills.
- Can perform the physical requirements of the role.
