Awellestablished partner hospital in Citrus Heights CA is seeking a fulltime Associate Veterinarian to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and compassionate DVM to grow within a collaborative and supportive environment. Youll work alongside a passionate team that values quality care client education and fostering lasting relationships with pet owners.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medical care including diagnostics treatments and preventive health measures for small animals.
Surgical Procedures: Perform a variety of surgeries including routine and emergency procedures.
Client Communication: Educate pet owners on treatment plans preventative care and overall pet wellness.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and compliant medical records for all patients.
Collaboration: Work closely with other veterinarians and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for each patient.
Ideal Candidate:
DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree from an accredited veterinary school
Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in California
Clinical experience in a veterinary setting with proficiency in medical and surgical procedures
Passion for client education and building strong trusting relationships with pet owners
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Adaptable flexible and able to thrive in a dynamic and fastpaced setting
