Description:
ATCO Frontec is seeking a Labourer to join our ATCO Facility Solutions team in Calgary AB. The Labourer is responsible for assisting the tradespersons with preventative maintenance and inspection tasks.
Where We Work and Live:
ATCO Frontec provides preventative and corrective maintenance services for our customers throughout Alberta. Our maintenance teams are mobile and travel will be required in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide input into the preventive maintenance plan;
- Assist with various project tasks (carpentry plumbing electrical drywalling warehouse support etc.
- Assist the tradespersons with inspections and general maintenance tasks
- Complete regular maintenance checks on equipment;
- Propose alternative solutions to mitigate delays;
- Organize supplies and handle pickup and dropoff logistics;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in general trades; experience in electrical construction or maintenance would be considered a strong asset.
- Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required
- Good mechanical skills and understanding of building components and equipment;
- Good communication customer service and teamwork skills.
