Boston Harbor City Cruises is seeking a Codzilla Actor/Deckhand for our operation in Boston MA.

About You:

This person will be adaptable dynamic and embody City Experiences RESPECT Service System.

About the Opportunity:

The Actor/Deckhand is responsible for entertaining passengers in a fun and upbeat manner and providing excellent customer service onboard our highspeed thrill boat.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Learn thebasic scriptfor the narrationandprepareyourown verbalizationof theridethrough the harbor.
• Deliveran engaging and informativeexperienceonthe vessel using a wireless mic in front of the passengers.
• Greet and interactwithpassengers in a friendly courteous manner.
• Responsible for cleaningall parts of the vessel including between trips and at end of each shift.
• Learn and performimportant maritime skills such assafely throwing and tying lines emergency procedures and more.
• Take partin safety drills and work in cooperation with the Captain and crewof the vessel.
• Arrive to work on time and punch in and out on the companys timeclock system.
• Communicateclearly with other departments and personnel.
• Additional job duties assigned

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Ability to learn and memorize information and to deliver an engaging storylike tour.
• Ability toexpress anecdotes in a clear and coherent delivery styleand to engage with audience members / customers in a humorous yet familyfriendly way.
• Capacity to keep calmand maintain a pleasant demeanorin a busy fastpaced work environment.
• Tolerance for getting wet over the course of a typical shift.
• Ability to stay on your feet for lengthy periods of time.
• Theatre or improvexperience preferred.
• A commitment to being on time and delivering aconsistently engaging informative and interactive tour.
• Will be required to be available for work on nights weekends and on all major holidays
