The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) Division of Alaska National Guard Facilities (ARNG) is recruiting for an Airport Leasing Specialist Flex 1/2/3!
This position is in the General Government (GGU) bargaining unit and is flexibly staffed based on experience and/or training plan.

The successful applicants must pass a federal background check in order to qualify for military base access which is required with this positions work location on base. The background check may include fingerprinting. All job offers are conditional pending successful completion of the federal background check and issuance of a Defense Biometrics Identification System (DBIDS) card allowing base access. Also you must be able to maintain the clearance throughout your employment. If using a private vehicle this will require a valid Alaska Driver License proof of vehicle insurance and a valid State of Alaska vehicle registration.
State employees are guests on Joint Base ElmendorfRichardson; clearance and access are not within the States control. Due to updated Federal regulations you must have one of the following to obtain access to the Joint Base Elmendorf/Fort Richardson Military Instillation: A Real ID passport passport card or military issued ID.
Special Note:In addition in some cases employees must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC). As part of the examination process a background check investigation including a criminal records check will be conducted. Conviction of a crime will not automatically preclude appointment. The circumstances involved in the conviction will be considered.

Experience and/or training which included reading interpreting and explaining the terms of contracts leases real estate transactions loan documents insurance policies or other legal documents.

Typically gained by means the prevalent usual method of gaining the competencies expected for entry into the job.

This job class uses competency based minimum qualifications. List of additional requirements for the position you should know to determine whether to apply such as:
You must be willing and able to travel within and outside the state of Alaska to remote locations via various modes of transportation.
Including but not limited to: small aircraft military/civilian helicopter ATV boat snow machine commercial aircraft etc.
Must be willing and able to house in facilities with minimal amenities such as camping environments.
